![]() So I don't personally see the pleasure in limiting myself in order to get a challenge the end result is just that i lose interest in that community faster. I also play with those boons and do use the Bounty Broker, and I jump from map to map instead of grinding an empty map (a sort-of Breakdown-ish gameplay). I haven't bothered with the two other legacies. Since the Legacies are so boring to me, I did finish the Builder legacy with a fresh start just like everyone else on Lethal, and then I brought with me all the things I needed to finish the Trader legacy as quickly as possible. People even choose entirely random survivors (3 clicks on each for instance), no Bounty Broker, no Rare Weapons Cases, no Trader Leader, no Boons and so on - just because limiting yourself is what the gameplay is about once you have "beaten the game" (i.e. Not playing it with completely fresh survivors defeats the whole purpose of that difficulty. Yes, because the whole point of Lethal is the completely unfair challenge it provides. So the ability to have nearly godly survivors for new Lethal Mode (which I haven't gotten to play yet before losing my pool) isn't something anyone cares about? Seems unlikely dude. This would be great, but I unfortunately just finished out a game to bleed off some of my last survivors from earlier games I wanted to replace with better ones - so as of the backup of my files I have no base community. I might try to get into my failing SSD again and try to backup the saves again but since I did this last night I don't have high hopes of it. I managed to get one of my communities to show from a few months ago when I last played and backed up my save games manually (SSD was starting to have issues at the time and I was trying to be pro-active in backing up my saves). Good luck Appreciate the post, unfortunately it seems like this only restores communities that were lost (at least for me after messing with it a few times) and not the legacy survivor pool. The title for the thread is "PSA - Don't mess with your save files on PC or else DOOM" if you want to search for it yourself. Here's a link to the redditt page if Steam will allow it. 引用自 Diarmuhnd:Hmmn, there was a fix for this sort of thing a while back. ![]() ![]() I'm not sure how you can defend Undead Labs for having game data that is not saved in case of an issue like this, and how do you defend it? So people can't "cheat" and trade game saves? So people can't make back-ups in case a survivor/community dies? What hill are you going to die on for them? In fact, does anyone know WHAT the save game files contain? So far it seems like only the Legacy Boons are saved. So what you're saying is that spending hundreds of hours playing to get weapons, limited time items, maxing out skills, is not going to allow for several hundred more hours of playthroughs in the future? Being "Overly dramatic" about having spent hours at a time finding the survivors to start new communities for all that time leading to you back in the menu flipping through hundreds, if not thousands of survivors looking for a new starting point is "what the game is" to you? Not to mention the loss of collectible clothing - which is also not in the game save files. Are you trying to claim that the several hundred hours was purely prepwork for a playthrough that lasts only several to a dozen hours? Yeah, overly dramatic. 引用自 Zajaka:Well considering all the time invested is gone now, it was wasted - no dramatics, just facts here buddy.
